Source of Light
This is the CAN (Communities and Neighbours) base in Coalville, Leics, next to the town’s distinctive war memorial. I painted it during my artist residency there in November. It’s called ‘Source of Light’ not just because of the atmospheric conditions but also because CAN does so much good work in the local area. It was a real pleasure to be there and I was delighted that they wanted to own the picture.
